Samuel Burt was born in 1980. Educated by Lewis Nielson and Christopher Theofanidis, among others. He teaches computer music at the Baltimore School for the Arts and is a chairman of the High Zero Foundation, co-founder of the Illusory Correlations concert series, and a participant and organizer of several Baltimore 24hc (Twenty Four Hour Concert) events. He improvises in free music bands Death in the Maze, Suitcase, and Geodesic Gnome. With John Berndt in 2004 he built a sound installation at the Contemporary Museum called Speakeroids "Object Disoriented Synthesis."
