Recently, an extremely popular radio show began critiquing certain musics labeled as "avant-garde," prompted primarily from recordings of a semi-classical band of growing stature. The music, not immediately understood, was mocked with great hatred for several days on the show.
The opinions expressed are most likely not the fault of those on the radio show, but they are commonly found in our society. It is curious however, that such an extreme reaction takes place (and this is sometimes found within the music community). Tosherish embraces some of the developments found within 20th century classical music that have had the most influence on popular culture.
